  • Gather your ingredients.
  • Combine the ingredients in a glass. Add the chia seeds to the glass of water and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and expand.
  • Drink the mixture. You can then drink the mixture as is, or add a sweetener such as honey or agave nectar if desired.

It's recommended to start with a lower amount of chia seeds, such as 1 teaspoon, and see how your body does with the fiber.  You can then increase gradually from there.
