Green Tea with Chia Seeds

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or stevia optional

  • Bring the water to a boil and then remove from heat.
  • Add the green tea bag to the hot water and let it steep for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the green tea bag and let the tea cool for a few minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, add chia seeds and pour the cooled green tea over it.
  • Stir the mixture well and let it sit for 15 minutes, or until the chia seeds have fully hydrated.
  • Stir in honey or stevia, if desired.
  • Enjoy your green tea with chia seeds!

Notes

You can also use loose-leaf green tea instead of a tea bag.
You can also refrigerate the tea for a refreshing chilled drink.
