Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups oat milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, melt the vegan butter over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes to create a roux.
  • Slowly pour in the oat milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
  • Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme, and stir to combine.
  • Continue to cook the gravy over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

If you prefer a thicker gravy, you can add more flour to the roux, or reduce the amount of oat milk.
If you prefer a thinner gravy, you can add more oat milk or reduce the amount of flour in the roux.
