How to Make Raisin Water

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 2 cups of water

  • Rinse the raisins in water to remove any dirt or debris.
  • Place the raisins in a medium-sized saucepan and add the water.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Strain the raisin water through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the raisins.
  • Pour the raisin water into a jar or other container and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Once the raisin water has cooled, it is ready to use. You can drink it as is, or use it in place of water in recipes for added flavor and nutrition. You can store it in the refrigerator for a few days and drink it chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Note: You can also add other ingredients to the raisin water, such as lemon juice or honey, to add more flavor. Experiment with different ingredients to find the combination that you like best.
