Earth Nuts is the less used name for the peanut! Peanuts or Earth nuts are wonderful snacks, including peanut butter which is made from ground up earth nuts.
Also, Earth Nuts can be used in larger snack items like trail mix. Also, peanut butter can go on things such as celery or apples. Earth Nuts are very versatile!
Peanut butter snacks are great for toddlers too!
Ezekiel Bread is probably the healthiest form of bread there is. You can also get it in different flavors or varieties, such as cinnamon raisin bread. These can all be eaten toasted and eaten as a snack.
Edamame can be eaten as a snack or as a pre-dinner item. The great thing is that Edamame is very good for you. Here are some of the benefits

- High in Vitamins and Minerals. The highest being: 78% of folate, 51% of manganese and 33% of vitamin K. Folate levels are much higher than regular soybeans.

- Some studies have found the isoflavones in soy or edamame may increase bone density or prevent bone loss in middle age or older women.
Energy Bars such as Lara Bars, which I think are the healthiest, can be eaten as a snack that begins with the letter E! There are many Energy Bar options, but look for ones that are low in processed ingredients and also low in sugar.
Lara Bars are great, especially for toddlers, since they are healthy and made of wholesome ingredients without preservatives.
Elderberry can be made into Elderberry jam to be put onto toast. It can also be made into an Elderberry pie which could be eaten as a snack that starts with E.
Evergreen Huckleberry are berries that can be eaten by themselves since they are sweet. They can also be made into jams or pies to be eaten as a snack food.
Espresso can be drank at any time of the day, and definitely between meals. Although it may not give you many calories, it will still give you energy from the caffeine and give you a boost. Espresso also has numerous health benefits due to a lot of antioxidants it has present in it.
An éclair is like a donut but longer and oblong shaped. It’s filled with a creme with some chocolate on top. These could be consumed anytime during the day as a snack, but remember to limit these as they will be high in sugar.
Although commonly a breakfast food that starts with E, Eggo waffles could be eaten as a snack as well.
Although usually eaten with a meal, egg rolls are small and could be eaten as a snack at times. Also, they are made with cabbage which has tons of nutritional benefits as well. Look for a vegetarian option if you can.
Elephant Foot Yam Chips
Elephant Foot Yam is sometimes cut into chips and fried, which could be eaten as a snack food. It’s called Elephant Foot Yam Chips or Suran Chips
Egg Fruit or Canistels can be eaten raw as a fruit snack, or they can be made into jams to go on toast as a snack.
The Emu Apple is found in Australia and is a sweet fruit that can be eaten raw as a snack.
The Entawak fruit, also called Mentawa or Bintawa is a round fruit about 3-4 inches. It has a sweet flavor and a taste that is like a pumpkin. Usually they are eaten raw.
