Vegan

The vegan diet is a more popular form of the plant based diet in which no animal foods at all are eaten.  This doesn’t always follow a whole foods plant based diet because sometimes the foods eaten might be highly processed and not in their whole, natural states.  Nevertheless, it is still a good plant based diet and a healthy one to follow.  This is because it cuts out animal based foods and meat, which have been found to be huge causes of diseases, obesity and diabetes.

The vegan diet has the benefit of not just better health, but also a positive impact on the environment and animal rights.  Most raising of animal based foods leads to negative effects on the environment.  This is coupled with the idea that factory farms which are used to produce many animal products, have the huge potential to cause epidemics and worldwide health issues.  Further is the fact that animals are generally not treated humanely in these farms and are also killed for meat consumption.  Usually the living conditions for these animals is very poor and unsanitary.
